Jen Keenan is an illustrator, art director, and multimedia artist living between Brooklyn and Woodstock, NY. Her debut art show took place in the brown linoleum-speckled halls of her elementary school at the ripe age of seven — and she’s been doodling and dabbling in creative media ever since.

Jen creates work that captures a sense of child-like whimsy, celebrating hand-drawn imperfections, expressive lettering, and quirky sophistication.

She has experience across publishing, network branding and event design, food packaging, paper goods and décor, print, identity, and digital design. Her selected clients include Macmillan, Mattel, Food Network, HarperCollins, Nickelodeon, Ad Age, Hachette Book Group/Little, Brown Young Readers, Levine Querido, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Penguin Random House, and Workman Publishing.

She is also the founder of Charming Studio, her greeting card and paper goods line stocked in independent shops throughout the U.S. and internationally.

She draws inspiration from vintage packaging, children’s picture books, colorful textiles, food, her silly pets, and the everyday world around her.
